Pearslas have been established since 1795 as munufactures and merchants of all descriptions of fine silks for embroidery, knitting and sewing purposes. Some of Pearsall's silk threads and flosses have been used since the 18th century for needlework and eccesiastical vestments. Pearsall's have retained and re-introduced the original name "filoselle" reproducing the same silk constructions and replicating the colours that have been used in embroidery for over 200 years.
