This piece is inspired by a series of wonderful embroidery fragments found at flea markets in the US and Europe. The project includes double running motifs, Assisi and delightful tassels inspired by Castiguli work. Hand dyed pink-peach silks are used to give the impression that the Assisi piece has been faded from many years of use.
