Porcelain half dolls have been decorating household items since the 1800's. They were used for enhancing tea cosies, pincushions or trinket boxes or were seen at the top of a small whisk broom. Since this time the dolls have seen a resurgence of popularity in the form of tassel dolls for curtain tie backs or ornaments.In this book the dolls have been dressed in delicate bead crocheted skirts.
